Psychoeducational evaluation · Licensed psychologist

Answers in two weeks.

We test children ages 5 to 18 for dyslexia, ADHD, autism and giftedness, then hand you a written report your school can act on. Two visits. One clear document. No waitlist past 6 weeks.

What we evaluate

Five questions parents bring us most.

Every evaluation is run and written by Dr. Alma Reyes, a licensed psychologist. You get scores, plain English meaning, and specific recommendations written so a school team can put them into a 504 plan or an IEP.

  1. 01

    Dyslexia and reading

Phonological processing, decoding, fluency and spelling, measured against grade level. Tells you whether reading is the problem or a symptom of something else.

  2. 02

    ADHD and attention

Attention, working memory and processing speed, plus rating scales from you and from two teachers. We rule in and rule out, and we say which.

  3. 03

    Autism

ADOS-2 administration with developmental history and adaptive functioning. Common for girls and for older kids who were missed in early childhood.

  4. 04

    Giftedness and twice exceptional

Cognitive and achievement testing accepted by Arizona gifted programs, including profiles where a learning difference sits underneath a high IQ.

  5. 05

    504 and IEP support

A second read on a school evaluation you disagree with, plus written accommodations and a 30 minute call with your school team at no extra charge.

How it works

Three steps. Fourteen days.

Intake

A 60 minute conversation about school reports, teacher notes, sleep, homework and what you are actually seeing at home. We decide together which tests are worth doing, and which are not.

60 minutes · In person or video

Testing day

One morning at our Phoenix office, usually 3 to 4 hours with real breaks and snacks. Kids sit at a table and do puzzles, reading and memory tasks. Most tell us afterward it was fine.

3 to 4 hours · One visit

Feedback in 2 weeks

Fourteen days after testing day you get the full written report and a 60 minute feedback session where we read it with you. Diagnosis, scores, and accommodations your school can use on Monday.

14 days · Report plus 60 minute session
