Pediatric occupational therapy · Peoria, Arizona

3,000 square feet of hard work that feels like recess.

Wiggle Works OT is a full sensory gym with room to actually run. Every session is 45 minutes, one kid, one OTR/L, and a floor full of swings, crash pads, and a 12 foot climbing wall. Parents stay in the room.

The Wiggle Works sensory gym in Peoria: a platform swing on yellow straps, a charcoal crash pad on the foam floor, and a birch climbing wall lit by high windows.

The equipment

The gym, by the numbers.

Kids do not sit still to get better at sitting still. Everything below is on the floor every day, and your therapist picks the pieces that match the goals on your plan.

The wall is graded. Most kids start on the bottom four holds and work the rest over a few months.

What we treat

Six things parents call us about.

  • 01

    Sensory integration

Kids who crash into everything, or who cover their ears in the grocery store. We build a sensory diet your child can use at home and at school.

  • 02

    Fine motor and hand strength

Scissors, buttons, zippers, shoelaces, and the grip strength underneath all of it.

  • 03

    Handwriting

Letter formation, spacing, pencil grip, and stamina. We use Handwriting Without Tears and send the practice pages home.

  • 04

    Feeding and picky eating

Food chaining and oral motor work for kids who eat fewer than 15 foods. No pressure, no clean plate rules.

  • 05

    Regulation and self-calming

Naming the body signal before the meltdown, and having a plan for what comes next. Zones of Regulation, adapted per kid.

  • 06

    Parent coaching

You are in the room for every session. We hand off the strategy while it is still fresh, and follow up by text between visits.

Getting started

Three steps, about two weeks.

  1. 01

    Free 15 minute phone call

You tell us what is hard right now. We tell you honestly whether OT is the right fit, and if it is not, who to call instead.

  2. 02

    90 minute evaluation, $225

Standardized testing plus watching your child move through the gym. You leave with a written plan and goals you can read without a glossary.

  3. 03

    Weekly 45 minute sessions, $135

Same therapist every week. We re-test at 12 weeks and show you the numbers, not just a feeling that things are better.
